This team never ceases to amaze me and make me proud. Thank you all, who helped with and attended the 4a Eastern Regionals. Athens Drive really stepped up last night and yesterday. The parents with the help of Heather and Matt Robertson showed the entire Eastern Region how to host an event with 391 athletes and approximately 500 spectators. Thanks to our Athletic Director Alvin Thompson who ran our gate for Friday and Saturday and my wonderful wife and father who spent the entire day helping us to shine with our efforts to be generous and gracious hosts.
With all of the behind the scenes being taken care of our Athletes threw down the gauntlet and let the region know that we are to be recognized. Dylan Kab, Andy Lamb, Katie Olson, Victoria Bell, and Lindsey Giglio all made the cut to compete at the next level at states next weekend. With two wins for Andy Lamb and all but one of our 6 relays making the cut to go to states the Jaguars had a great day. Again you all make me proud to be your coach and thank you parents for all your support.

Final pricing on the Athens Swim Team gear is as follows:
Long-sleeved T-shirt $12
Short-sleeved T-shirt $10
Hoodie Sweatshirt $17
Checks or cash to be collected at the Swim Meet on this Thursday, November 13!!! Make checks payable to Joy Currens.
Be sure to check the Athens Swim Team website for the list of swimmer orders. Verify order and size please! If you have already contact me, I have changed it on my list.
The goal is to have the gear by the 2nd meet which is Tuesday, November 18 - I must have orders and payments in by Thursday, November 13.
